Maria opened Newport Wine Cellar in 2008 with the intention to create a wine shop that supported independent winemakers producing exceptional, artisanal wines sustainably. Her inventory is carefully curated to encourage clients to engage, learn, and enjoy. Inspired by these wines of character and integrity, Maria begin making wine in 2016 in Napa. While she continues to run the shop in RI, she offers seminars and tastings in New York, produces Tipsy Rose Wines in California, and distributes her label in RI, CA, NY, NJ, DE, and PA.
